Terraforming Digsites are a building constructed with 1 stick. They provide a very limited ability to change the height of a hex (7 tiles) from its natural or current height, such as to produce a large flat field for a coherent base design.

A Terraforming Digsite can only be placed on a hex that is completely clear (besides paving) and flat. This means all 7 of the subhex tiles making it up must be the same elevation, which is unlikely to be the case for hexes too close to water, mountains, or other extreme variations in natural ground height. There is currently no way to flatten an uneven hex to permit a Terraforming Digsite.

The effort required to change elevation increases rapidly as the distance from the hex's natural height increases.
